Very simply, we want to help you cook better and feel more comfortable in the kitchen. We offer you better ways to get meals on the table using bolder flavors, easier techniques and combinations of ingredients that will take your cooking from good to great. We showcase delicious recipes, tips, and product selection/usage to help enhance the way you cook and enjoy food.

Our classes are interactive demonstrations.  The instructor will demonstrate recipe preparation and participants are welcome to ask questions and interact throughout the class.  There is no hands-on component to this experience. We find that this method lets everyone get the same great experience for each recipe prepared.

  

Which class is right for you?   

We offer an exciting variety of cuisine and technique classes in a fun and relaxed environment at our downtown Wooster store location.

What to expect:

  • Classes are demonstration format - NO STRESS
  • 10% discount on in-store merchandise day of class

      Class Venue: Indoor 
      Classes are held within the Graham & Burns retail location. Street parking in the front and parking lot in the rear of store.  Students will be seated at tables for the duration of the class. No assigned seating. Everyone is encouraged to participate and interact as noted in the class description.

      Should I eat a snack before class?
      You will sample the recipes throughout class. You won't leave hungry! Please see class description for specific offering.

      Cancellation policy

      • Class registration is not refundable and may not be applied to a future class.
      • You are welcome to have another person attend in your place.
      • If Graham & Burns cancels the class, you will receive a full refund. 

      How do you handle allergies or dietary restrictions?
      We apologize, but we are not an allergy-free environment and are unfortunately not able to accommodate special dietary requests.

      Note: Photography may be taken by Graham & Burns Cooking School during class and used for advertising/social media purposes.

      Instructors:

      Lisa and Christopher Struzik

       Founders and owners of Graham & Burns. Coming from generations of family in the food business, they are life-long passionate foodies. They have lived throughout the U.S. and savored the many diverse regional and cultural cuisines. They built their culinary knowledge and skills in the kitchen alongside generations of family cooks and at culinary programs across the country. It is their passion to share their love of cooking good food with their community.

      Matt AllenMatt has spent nearly 4 decades working in the foodservice and consumer packaged foods. He shares his joy of cooking and baking in his blog "Old Guy In The Kitchen". While not classically trained in the culinary arts, he has spent years working in commercial kitchens and experimenting with flavors and textures in his cooking for family and friends. He has a hands-on, anybody can do it approach to cooking and teaching.

      Additional local chefs will be introduced as classes are scheduled.
